We did go out last night, and we had desserts in a restaurant near the Castello Storzesco, which was lit beautifully from below. Christine got a few pictures of the castle. She is now our designated photographer, as my camera lens motor broke on the first day in Geneva. At the restaurant, Christine ordered a lemon sorbet, which came in a champagne glass, and I ordered a parfait gelato, which had three layers in the flavors of tiramisu. It was even coated with cocoa powder .. and totally delicious.
We made the last train back to the central train station, where our hotel is located. Since the Castello Storzesco is near the Milano Arena, we were joined by dozens of football fans coming from a game. They were rowdy and drunk, and wore thick red or blue woolen scarves to proclaim their allegiances.
We're having breakfast in the hotel, and we'll venture out soon enough for more sightseeing, roasted chestnuts, shopping, and final espressos in a plaza someplace ..
